This role sits at the centre of commercial and operational decision‑making — connecting finance, operations, and leadership teams. Your insights and recommendations will directly influence planning, profitability, compliance, and long‑term strategic direction.
The role You will take ownership of finance operations for the Austrian market organisation, leading activities across accounting, reporting, forecasting, and financial planning. Beyond ensuring accuracy and compliance, you will act as a trusted finance partner to the business, translating financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
With visibility across both local operations and the wider European finance organisation, you will play a central role in strengthening financial governance, improving processes, and supporting commercial and operational decision‑making.
What you’ll work on
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities aligned with business objectives
Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in line with IFRS and local GAAP requirements
Provide commercial, operational, and profitability analysis to support strategic decision‑making
Partner with local management teams on financial planning, operational priorities, and growth initiatives
Coordinate audits, balance sheet reconciliations, compliance activities, and tax‑related processes
Support finance process improvements and efficient system integration across functions and stakeholders
What will help you succeed
Several years of experience in a senior finance, controlling, or accounting role within an international business environment
Strong expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, IFRS, and local GAAP
Experience preparing financial statements, forecasts, and business analysis with a high level of accuracy
Fluent German and English communication skills
Strong Excel and ERP system experience; familiarity with MS Dynamics AX2012 or OneStream is advantageous
