We are operating a complex system landscape combining legacy platforms (IBMi/self‑developed Transport Information System TIS) with modern applications such as Soloplan carLo, telematics, and data platforms. Our mission is to evolve this landscape into a scalable, resilient, and future‑proof architecture without compromising operational stability.
You will be working on one of the most critical challenges in modern IT: transforming a legacy‑driven transport landscape into a future‑ready architecture.
Responsibilities
* Translate business requirements into clear, structured solution architectures.
* Act as the decision authority for system and integration design.
* Design and govern end‑to‑end data flows.
* Drive the modernization of legacy systems.
* Ensure consistent implementation and integration of master data.
* Actively participate in projects.
* Review and validate solution designs.
* Collaborate closely with Product Owners.
* Contribute to building a modern architecture approach.
* Identify and manage technical risks.
Profile
* 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Domain Architecture, or a comparable role, with a strong technical background and hands‑on experience in system integration and complex IT landscapes.
* Solid understanding of data architecture and master data management concepts, proven experience in designing integrations (APIs, messaging, interfaces) and managing heterogeneous system environments.
* Experience with legacy systems (e.g., IBMi/AS400) is a strong advantage.
* Experience working in project‑driven or agile environments.
* Ability to balance business needs with technical constraints pragmatically, with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly.
* Business‑level English required; German is a plus.

Salary: Your starting salary will be based on your qualifications and experience and starts at EUR 3,500 gross per month (on a full‑time basis). If you have the appropriate qualifications, we are willing to offer a competitive salary above the market rate.
