The Team and The Role
The Team Lead is an integral, hands-on member of the team, a player‑coach who works side by side on daily operations and shares ownership of outcomes, planning capacity and prioritizing work to balance BAU with strategic projects. The role includes incident response, post‑mortems, governance and audit readiness through policies, controls, SOPs, and evidence; drives process excellence and automation. The Team Lead oversees tooling and vendor ROI with structured change management and training. They build and foster an inclusive, high‑trust culture with strong knowledge management, ongoing upskilling, and effective coaching and performance management. The Team Lead also hires and onboards effectively to grow the team and strengthen capabilities. The role works with Sales, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Onboarding to navigate trade‑offs with a merchant‑first lens.
