Mandarin Oriental Vienna is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Housekeeping Team. Reports to: Executive Housekeeper.
About the Job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Vienna within the Housekeeping Department, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for various duties. The position is aimed at ensuring high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for ensuring quality assurance according to Mandarin Oriental standards
* Allocation and coordination of teams for early and late shifts
* Ensuring smooth operations and impeccable guest rooms with attention to detail
* Conducting room inspections (guest rooms and suites)
* Providing regular training and development for the team
* Managing the cleanliness of storage areas
* Handling guest requests and complaints to ensure satisfaction
* Communication with colleagues and other departments
* Actively reviewing processes and offering ideas and suggestions
* Supervising laundry and pressing services
* Coordinating and ordering flowers, as well as purchasing requests
* Completing administrative tasks related to the department
* Contributing to projects and special assignments
* Conducting team briefings and meetings
* Promoting guest and colleague satisfaction
* Managing Lost & Found
* Performing other tasks as assigned by the direct superior or senior manager on duty

* Adherence to and enforcement of Mandarin Oriental standards (Code of Conduct, Sustainability, Safety & Health Guidelines, Legendary Quality Experience Standards, Forbes)

Salary: The collective minimum gross monthly salary for this position is €2,263.00. There is a willingness to offer a higher salary depending on qualifications and experience.
