We are operating a complex system landscape combining legacy platforms (IBMi/self‑developed Transport Information System TIS) with modern applications such as Soloplan carLo, telematics, and data platforms. Our mission is to evolve this landscape into a scalable, resilient, and future‑proof architecture without compromising operational stability.
You will be working on one of the most critical challenges in modern IT: transforming a legacy‑driven transport landscape into a future‑ready architecture.
Responsibilities
Translate business requirements into clear, structured solution architectures.
Act as the decision authority for system and integration design.
Design and govern end‑to‑end data flows.
Drive the modernization of legacy systems.
Ensure consistent implementation and integration of master data.
Actively participate in projects.
Review and validate solution designs.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners.
Contribute to building a modern architecture approach.
Identify and manage technical risks.
Profile
5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Domain Architecture, or a comparable role, with a strong technical background and hands‑on experience in system integration and complex IT landscapes.
Solid understanding of data architecture and master data management concepts, proven experience in designing integrations (APIs, messaging, interfaces) and managing heterogeneous system environments.
Experience with legacy systems (e.g., IBMi/AS400) is a strong advantage.
Experience working in project‑driven or agile environments.
Ability to balance business needs with technical constraints pragmatically, with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex topics clearly.
Business‑level English required; German is a plus.

Salary: Your starting salary will be based on your qualifications and experience and starts at EUR 3,500 gross per month (on a full‑time basis). If you have the appropriate qualifications, we are willing to offer a competitive salary above the market rate.
