SAP Commerce (Hybris) Backend Developer (w/m/d)
Join the digital unit of XXXL Group as a backend developer for SAP Commerce Cloud. The role is full‑time and based in Vienna, with options for remote work and other European locations.
Responsibilities
* Conceptualise, develop, maintain, and operate web applications, adapting and extending SAP Commerce Cloud.
* Implement complex back‑end features in alignment with Solution Architects and cross‑functional teams.
* Collaborate with front‑end developers and other team members to ensure a high‑quality customer experience.
* Write maintainable, performant, stable, and well‑documented code and contribute to coding standards.
* Create and maintain technical documentation, reports, and manuals.
* Plan, execute, and automate testing processes (unit tests, automated tests, and feature testing).
* Analyse, debug, and fix bugs; perform code reviews and suggest technological solutions.
* Participate in agile ceremonies and support requirements gathering, user stories, estimations, and mentoring of junior team members.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of professional Java experience, with advanced expertise in Spring and SAP Commerce Cloud.
* Strong knowledge of RESTful web services, relational databases, and ORM frameworks.
* Solid security proficiency, especially in API security.
* Experience with build and automation tools.
* Willingness to learn new technologies, including Golang.
* Capability to mentor junior developers.
