Rave is Jeppesen’s domain-specific language for crew management systems, enabling optimized scheduling, compliance, and efficiency. Similar to C#/C++, with Python useful for reporting, it requires strong logic skills, interest in aviation, and eagerness to learn industry rules and optimization.
1. You develop, implement, and maintain business rules to optimize crew scheduling and resource allocation within the Crew Management System.
2. You analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose optimizations by translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
3. You create and execute test cases to validate the functionality of rules.
4. You collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the calibration of optimization parameters.
5. You configure business logic according to the specific requirements of the Jeppesen system and airline operations.

6. You have a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
7. You have at least 2 years of programming experience.
8. You are comfortable using basic Linux command line skills.
9. You have experience with any functional programming languages (e.g., C#, C++, Java, Python).
