Your main roles and responsibilities
1. Develop innovative software solutions for an incident-free and efficient rail transport of the future
2. Design specifications and incorporate them into the conception of the software architecture
3. Design sustainable software architectures with a focus on embedded systems and realise your own ideas in innovative R&D projects
4. Document architectures and designs using semi-formal methods
5. Pursue agile development approaches and automate process steps
6. Use modern methods such as test-driven development and continuous integration and consider multidisciplinary topics such as safety and security
7. Contribute your expertise to the team and benefit from the know-how of a global market leader
You are just right for this role if
1. you have a solid technical education (university of applied sciences / university) in the field of computer science / software engineering with several years of professional experience
2. SysML and C are nothing new to you
3. you are familiar with programming standards such as MISRA
4. you are open to modern working methods and agile development methods
5. software quality is important to you and you are enthusiastic about technically challenging tasks
6. you find it easy to communicate in both German and English
