For our Test Development Team in Klaus (Vorarlberg, Austria), we are seeking a Product Safety Engineer – Electronic Test Systems, 80-100% (f/m/x).
Role Overview
* Develop, define, and validate safety concepts as a CE-coordinator, serving as the primary contact for product safety in test infrastructure development.
* Lead and facilitate risk assessments (PSRA), ensuring mitigation measures meet standards like ISO 13849.
* Support development teams with compliance guidance and testing.
* Ensure safety compliance through verification, validation, and testing processes.
* Communicate standards clearly and verify alignment with test plans.
* Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external bodies such as TÜV.
* Drive continuous improvement in safety processes.
Candidate Profile
* Educational background in electronics, electrical engineering, or related fields (HTL, FH, or similar).
* Knowledge of EU directives such as Low Voltage, EMC, and Machinery.
* Passion for standards and guidelines with strong analytical skills.
* Decision-making confidence in complex development environments with a collaborative approach.
* Excellent communication skills in English and German (spoken and written).
* Organized with strong multitasking abilities.
