Role Summary:
As a Sales Engineer, and an integral member of the Sub regional Sales Team for Austria-Benelux and CEE, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with key customers, our distributor network, customer alliances and keeping Flowserve in line with market trends. You will also develop a keen understanding of Flowserve operations to enhance selling the overall products and services Flowserve’s Valve Division has to offer.
Your role:
1. Drive bookings levels to meet and/or exceed assigned bookings goal
2. Introduction, promotion, and sales of all Flowserve valve products
3. Training and management of independent representative and distribution sales force.
4. Support joint sales calls with contracted Channel partners, and independently in some cases when needed.
5. Maintain existing accounts and penetrate new targeted accounts to grow Flowserve FCD market share.
6. Prepare bi-weekly forecasts and maintain FlowForce (Salesforce) CRM database with key accounts, opportunities, and TAR schedules.
7. Prepare and submit any assigned reports in an accurate and timely manner.
8. Responsible for organizing monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings with all sales channels.
9. Support recruitment and management of reps and distributors to drive bookings growth.
10. Drive to get Flowserve FCD products specified in key applications and/or on customers’ AML where applicable.
11. Must effectively collaborate with application engineers, customer service, and manufacturing to ensure customer's needs are met.
Your profile:
12. Minimum HTL or Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline and/or 5 years+ of related experience in successful technical sales to Industrial Process Control related industries.
13. Direct experience selling control valves and process valves / automation.
14. Ability to work independently, efficiently and communicate productively with others.
15. Requires strategic thinking, resourcefulness, and planning coupled with a drive for continuous improvement.
16. Must be highly motivated, communicative, and self-starter type to drive growth and success successfully.
17. Strong oral and written communication skills (English) German or any other CEE language is a benefit.
18. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
19. Must be willing to travel up to 50%

Required information pursuant to section 9 of the Austrian Treatment Act (GleichbehandlungsG): Minimum yearly gross remuneration as per collective agreement from € 55.000,00 p.a. upwards – overpayment depending on qualifications and professional experience.
The pay range for this role is 4.550,33 € - 6.815,81 € per month.
