Responsibilities
Selection and qualification of project-specific suppliers
Identification, evaluation and onboarding of new suppliers, taking into account quality, costs, delivery performance and sustainability criteria
Monitoring of KPIs and implementation of improvement measures
Active participation in cross-functional projects within the global procurement organisation
Conducting market analyses, benchmarking and risk analyses
Conducting price and contract negotiations with international suppliers
Helping to shape and further develop global procurement processes and tools
Qualifications
A completed technical or business degree (university or university of applied sciences, e.g. industrial engineering, electrical engineering, supply chain management, business administration)
Several years’ professional experience in strategic procurement
Experience in international sourcing, preferably in Eastern Europe
Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes in mechanical engineering and sheet metal working
Business fluency in English
Experience with SAP
