OverviewHead of Acquirer Sales – Acquirers, Payments – ViennaAcquiring, acquirers, merchant, acquirer sales,Our client is a global payment scheme seeking a collaborative Head of Acquirer Sales.You will grow card acceptance and sales through partnering with acquirers, issuers, PSPs, NSPs, ISVs, ISOs, agents and merchants across Central and Eastern European markets ( entailing occasional travel there)You will work closely with potential and existing acquirers to drive business results, while building strategic alliances.Day to day you will :Identify potential acquirers and initiate discussionsLead negotiations and build business relationshipsLeverage relationships with clients to expand brand activities and promote merchant/card member acquisitionsBuild alliances and maintain relationships with existing and potentialExpand acceptance routes with existing partners (E.g. mPpos, Ecommerce etc)Recruit merchants for card acceptanceManage operational activities and relationships of the team (including terminal issues and terminal vendors, other systems-related partnerships)Liaise with European HQ to develop specific campaigns and promotions to drive card acceptance, increase sales and maximise brand awarenessAttend conferences and meetings to represent and promote the company within the local market, with a view to extending its influence and achieving company goalsProvide reports on the progress of business objectivesManage sales team to ensure achievement on team KPIsBuild and strengthen relationships with key internal stakeholders across all marketsSkills and KnowledgePayments experienceStrong sales and marketing skills and understanding of sales processesOutstanding customer development and relationship management skillsStrong leadership skillsAbility to execute against the strategy; drive resultsDemonstrable analytical and data interpretation skillsStrong presentation skills, articulate, able to communicate clearly at all levelsResourceful in resolving issues and solving problems, leveraging resources to get resultsActively pursues learning and self-development to enhance personal, professional and business growth; shares learningAbility to work independently and take initiativeStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and influence othersStrong planning and organising skillsEffective decision-making skills; can choose a prompt course of action amongst options involving uncertainty or riskExcellent standard of written and verbal German and English required
