Your Tasks
* Contributing to the Actuarial function of Vienna Insurance Group in the fulfillment of its tasks
* Establishing technical provisions and capital requirements under Solvency II
* Analyzing and interpreting insurance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting the development of technical provisions
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive actuarial insights and support for operations
* Supporting VIG insurance companies in regulatory actuarial tasks
Minimum Requirements
* University degree in mathematics or similar
* At least 3 years of professional experience in life or non-life insurance mathematics
* Good understanding of Solvency II regulations and basic knowledge of IFRS standards
* Advanced Excel skills; experience with Prophet or ResQ is an advantage
* Structured, independent, and detail-oriented approach to work
* Strong communication abilities and pleasure of collaborating in an international team
* Very good English skills (spoken and written); good command of German is an advantage
Salary: Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 3,436.86 gross on the basis of full-time employment (37.5 hours/week). The remuneration package is market-compliant and will be discussed in a personal interview.
