We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Senior Data Analyst who is eager to drive informed decision‑making across key business functions and loves being part of a motivated team of internationals.
Responsibilities
* Turn raw data from multiple tools into reliable, well‑structured datasets and clear insights that support decisions across marketing, finance, and other teams.
* Build straightforward visualizations that make complex data easy to understand.
* Keep our data warehouse running smoothly, ensuring our data is correctly integrated, validated, and of good quality.
* Work with teams to explain what the data actually means, why it matters, and which actions they should consider.
* Collaborate closely with our marketing, finance, and support teams.
* Be open to give and receive feedback – we’re all about learning and growing together.
* Bring your own special expertise to our Journi team.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of experience in data science, data analysis, or data engineering.
* Proficient in Python and SQL, and strong in database queries.
* Skilled with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for clear and concise visualizations.
* Experienced with data modeling and understanding pros and cons of different approaches.
* Comfortable dealing with data from multiple tools and transforming/aligning it for consistent reporting.
* Proven data warehouse management and data quality assurance.
* Strong curiosity and ability to dig deep, find patterns, problems, or opportunities in data.
* Excellent at handling multiple priorities and delivering work on time.
* Permitted to work in the EU/Austria.
* Ability to relocate to or be based in Vienna.
Nice to Have
* Experience with AWS Redshift.
* Experience with ETL tools: Luigi, Apache PySpark.
* Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, influencer campaign platforms).
