Director of Finance Business Partner
to join our team. In this key leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of finance, accounting, and procurement operations while delivering accurate and timely financial insights to senior management and ownership. Your expertise will drive strategic planning, budgeting, and adherence to compliance standards, ensuring the hotel's sustained success.
Key Expectations
Responsible for assessing the financial performance of the Hotel as well as possible risks and investments.
Overseeing all accounting and finance aspects of the hotel including month end procedures, accounts receivable, cost control, income audit, cashiering, accounts payable and general ledger in accordance with Rosewood’s policies & procedures.
Continuously identifying and developing areas for business improvement and motivating key stakeholders to actively engage in the process through analysis & planning.
Acting as a coach and mentor to the Finance team by providing guidance and support in maintaining high performance and engagement.
Showing a sound understanding of the hotel operation paired with expert finance knowledge to provide valuable insights to support the leadership team in achieving maximum profitability in their areas of responsibility.
Lead performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
Fixed assets are purchased according to the capital expenditure budget, amounts are properly recorded.
Profile
Minimum 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with substantial exposure to luxury hospitality environments
Proven track record as Director of Finance within an internationally branded hotel or complex resort operation
Highly developed commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial strategy into measurable business performance
Executive presence with the confidence to advise ownership, asset managers, and senior stakeholders at board level
Demonstrated experience in managing owner relations, capital expenditure programs, and long-term asset value optimization
Strategic thinker with disciplined operational oversight and exceptional attention to detail
Strong change management capability, fostering accountability while building high‑performing, empowered teams
