Special Equipment Technician
Gantner Instruments is a leader in industrial metrology with own locations in Austria, Germany, France, Sweden, USA, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, India. To strengthen our international team in Schruns, Austria we are looking for a Special Equipment Technician (m/w/x) full-time.
Your profile:
* Completed education in electrical engineering/electronics (apprenticeship, technical school, or HTL)
* Experience in control cabinet construction and electrical planning
* Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks) and EPLAN is an advantage
* Technical understanding and problem-solving approach to work
* Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
* Team player with a hands‑on attitude
What to expect:
* Planning and design of control cabinets together with customers and the sales team
* Technical coordination of customer requirements and development of individual solutions
* Creation of control cabinet layouts and assembly plans
* Creation and implementation of circuit diagrams and wiring diagrams
* Mechanical assembly, installation, cabling, and wiring of control cabinets
* Performing functional tests
* Technical project support from planning to commissioning
* Ensuring compliance with standards and quality requirements
