Your new adventure

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager (m/f/d) for Special Operations (Defense) to join our team.

In this pivotal role, you will lead customer engagement efforts and manage the complete sales process for our Special Operations (Defense) products and services. From identifying new opportunities to negotiating deals and ensuring a seamless handover to project teams, you will be instrumental in our continued growth and success.

1. Identify, engage, and convert potential customers through direct presence (international travel necessary)
2. Manage comprehensive end-to-end sales processes
3. Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and tailored proposals
4. Drive pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting activities
5. Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and close deals
6. Ensure smooth project handovers and maintain ongoing key account
7. Develop solutions in alignment with defense and military standards
8. Manage tenders, bids, and strategic negotiations with defense sector stakeholders
9. Ensure full compliance with public authorities specific procurement frameworks and regulations
10. Represent the organization at key Special Operations industry exhibitions, conferences, and forums
11. Track defense industry trends and monitor competitor strategies

Your experiences and skills

12. Minimum of 7-10 years' technical sales experience.
13. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
14. Fluent in English; proficiency in German is beneficial. Any additional language would be an advantage
15. Strong sales, negotiation & contract management skills
16. Technical understanding & solution-oriented thinking
17. Effective customer relationship management
18. Extensive knowledge of defense products & procurement processes
19. Familiarity with military standards & compliance requirements
20. Proven sales relationships and strong network within governmental and military procurement

We offer

You will be offered an exciting position in an with many and diverse development opportunities. The minimum salary for this position is EUR 59,.98 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry.
