DescriptionAs Senior Engineering Manager / Technical Project Lead, you will be responsible for the overall technical coordination and management of complex power plant projects, including Jenbacher gas engine-based solutions and containerized platforms. You will lead cross-functional teams across multiple engineering disciplines and departments, ensuring technical excellence, project delivery, and alignment with customer requirements and INNIO standards.What INNIO offers you:An innovative and international working environmentFlexible working time model (depending on position and role)Health We Care program – including company sports activitiesMoving cost support for new employees in accordance with policyGood connections to public transport – station in direct proximityTransportation cost support in accordance with policyOne of the best canteens in the area with healthy and various mealsAttractive location in the heart of the Alps with various outdoor sports and leisure possibilitiesYour Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams (process, mechanical, electrical, civil, automation, controls, etc.) throughout all project phasesManage technical project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and reporting to management and stakeholdersServe as the primary technical interface between internal teams, external partners, and customers, facilitating communication and collaboration across departmentsOversee development, integration, and optimization of Jenbacher engine-based container platforms and BOP systems, ensuring compliance with international and local standards, safety, and environmental regulationsDrive technical reviews, design validation, quality assurance, and support authority engineering, permitting, and regulatory submissionsIdentify and resolve technical challenges for timely and cost-effective project delivery, and mentor project engineers and technical staffYour Profile:Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field; MSc, Dipl.-Ing., or equivalent) with 10+ years' experience in engineering management or technical project leadership for power plant or industrial projectsProven track record in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and complex projects, with strong knowledge of reciprocating engines, containerized solutions, and BOP systemsExperience with project management methodologies and tools, and familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (EN, IEC, ISO, PED, ASME, local building codes)Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills; fluent in German and English (business level)Project management certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA) is an advantage; proficiency with engineering and project management tools (MS Project, AutoCAD, SAP)Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach, with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyAt INNIO, we offer an attractive compensation package that is above the collective agreement for the metal industry.
