Talent Acquisition Consultant – Talent Community
The British Council is building a Talent Community of experienced Talent Acquisition Consultants to support our global recruitment delivery. This is not an immediate vacancy, but part of our ongoing strategy to pipeline strong professionals for upcoming requirements across regions.
We are currently pipelining for India, Thailand, Malaysia, Egypt, and Sri Lanka (with other countries opening on a rolling basis).
Role Purpose
As a Talent Acquisition Consultant with the British Council, you will play a vital role in finding and engaging the best talent to join our organisation. You will be part of the global TA team, connecting the British Council with great people by matching skills to opportunities that enable us to deliver our mission worldwide.

Role Accountabilities
* Deliver an exceptional end-to-end recruitment service, partnering closely with Hiring Managers to understand needs and define strategies.
* Support the organisation's journey from a transactional recruitment service towards a strategic Talent Acquisition model.
* Drive consistency, quality, and performance improvements across regions.
* Source and attract talent using innovative methods and market insights.
Manage candidates through the hiring journey with transparency, care, and professionalism.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, ideally in a multinational or matrix environment.
* Experience in high-volume recruitment delivery, with proven results against Talent Acquisition performance metrics.
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities across regions, with attention to detail and accountability.
* Knowledge of sourcing channels and tools, with a data-driven approach to recruitment.
Fluency in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
