As a Lead Engineer Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) – Building Automation Systems, you play a key role in executing our building automation business in Europe, being an integral part of our EPC and EPCM(V) projects.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
Take overall technical and administrative responsibility for the entire building automation scope in our GxP EPC and EPCM(V) projects - in all project phases ranging from conceptual design to qualification/validation
In projects assigned to you, oversee all work of building automation team members and execute select work yourself
Manage scope, resources, cost and time of the building automation sub‑discipline in projects assigned to you
Define procurement strategies, select vendors and subcontractors, execute technical clarification and generate technical bid evaluations
Evaluate vendor’s and subcontractor’s contracts, manage their changes as well as claims and approve their invoices
Expedite and lead vendors and subcontractors, review their technical documentation and attend factory acceptance tests
Coordinate and manage delivery, installation, commissioning and site acceptance testing of goods and services of vendors and subcontractors
Contribute to the development of Exyte’s internal I&C standards
Show Your Expertise
University degree in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics or a related technical discipline
Minimum of two successfully executed EPC or EPCM(V) projects as building automation lead engineer – both in design and execution
Technical expertise in both room and building automation
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Fluency in German and English
Willingness to travel within the DACH region. In select cases, willingness to travel internationally

Due to legal reasons, we must disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 75.000 gross per year based on full‑time employment. The final salary is based on the individual’s qualifications and professional experience.
