About the position…
Reporting to the Chief Finance & IT Officer, you will play a pivotal role in a major IT transformation initiative that will modernise our operating systems over the next 12 months. In addition, you will help support & optimize day-to-day IT infrastructure, lead local IT projects and work in close collaboration with international IT counterparts in the US. As a result, improving the end user experience of our franchise network for both Frontline Recruitment Group & Express Employment Professionals (ANZ).
A typical day as a Group IT Manager includes:
* Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, systems, and support services across all locations in Australia and New Zealand.
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of local IT projects, including cloud migrations, system upgrades, and cybersecurity initiatives.
* Oversee and manage performance of external IT support providers, ensuring alignment with service level expectations.
* Partner with US-based global IT and project teams to align local execution with international standards.
* Act as the key internal stakeholder for the upcoming IT transformation project, leading the transition to modern core systems.
* Identify and drive improvements to IT systems, user experience, and operational efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with data protection, cybersecurity, and IT policy standards.
* Engage and support franchise partners with IT needs, system access, and project integration.

* Minimum 3 years' experience in IT management and end-to-end project delivery, ideally within multi-site or franchise business environments.
* Strong technical knowledge across infrastructure, Microsoft 365, Azure, and networking.
* Advanced understanding of IT policies, data protection, and cybersecurity best practices.
* Proven success in managing outsourced IT vendors or managed service providers.
* Experience working with global teams and navigating different time zones, cultures, and systems.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
