As an analyst in the Corporate Structured Finance team, you will be involved in the design and execution of complex financing transactions or the optimization of the capital structure of Austrian and international companies. You will work in a dynamic, project-oriented investment banking environment and cooperate with other international teams such as Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, M&A, Export Finance or Treasury Solutions. You will gain a comprehensive insight into the entire financing process, from customer presentation to credit risk assessment, terms negotiation, loan applications to investment committees and much more.
What you'll be doing
* involvement in the structuring of high-profile lending transactions (syndicated/club deal type corporate loans, refinancing, corporate acquisitions and other event driven structured corporate lending) for leading Austrian and international corporates offering full range of investment banking products
* analysis of clients’ financial needs carrying out in-depth financial analyses
* build and work with detailed cash flow based financial models
* identification of key credit highlights and key risks with mitigating factors
* preparation of credit papers for applications to decision making bodies
* preparation of materials and analyses for origination, including presentations and pitch books
* preparation of briefing material for Senior Management
* close dialogue with UCGs coverage units, Corporate Loan Syndication, DCM, ECM and Advisory teams
What you'll need to succeed
* sound educational background and relevant work experience (max 1-2 years) in investment banking and/or corporate finance (credit analyses, financing or advisory), including internships
* highly motivated individual with a proven interest in banking and financing
* highly developed analytical and quantitative skills (financial modelling) with strong attention to detail
* willingness and ability to learn quickly and continuously always acting positively and respectfully
* ambitious and self-driven personality with a pro-active attitude who stays also calm in stressful situations
* good team player who welcomes feedback as an opportunity to learn and develop
* strong communication & presentation skills interacting with people easily within and outside UniCredit
* ability to complete assigned tasks with simplicity and in accordance with quality standard and timeframe
* fluency in written and spoken German and English
* high level of computer literacy with excellent knowledge of MS Office
* previous experience with tools such as Bloomberg and FactSet and Capital IQ is an advantage

We tailor your actual compensation according to your experience and expertise. In line with the collective agreement and based on a 38.5 hour workweek including overtime, the minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 55.211,14.
