About The Role
The Customer Activation team works closely with our key account and sales teams to understand the needs of customers, shoppers and guests, and to collaborate with brand teams to align with brand strategies. In this role, you will sit at the heart of the business, collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure they have the insights, growth drivers, and tools needed to deliver stellar execution of our commercial plan and to shift consumer and shopper behavior to achieve Diageo’s financial and market share ambitions. This role offers a commercial impact across a multifaceted environment.
Responsibilities
* Understand customer and brand needs by channel to pinpoint activation priorities that deliver the greatest impact.
* Build activation plans around shopper marketing activities by channel, programme and activity, integrating into the one commercial plan.
* Guide the sales force briefing of the commercial calendar, ensuring the team is equipped with selling tools and assets in line with customer activation timings.
* Ensure robust M&E to develop understanding of behaviour change and drivers of financial performance.
* A&P planning and monitoring.
* Lead, manage and develop external partners.
About You
* 5+ years’ experience in FMCG, in Sales, Customer, Trade, or Shopper Marketing.
* Knowledge of Swiss and Austrian On-trade markets.
* Passion for creating experiences for customers and consumers.
* Problem solver and teammate capable of handling ambiguity and adapting quickly.
* Experience managing several brands simultaneously.
* Proficient in German and/or English; French is a plus.
