As the point of contact for our company in the area of supplier claims, you will be responsible for managing, negotiating, and resolving procurement-related claims in a timely and accurate manner.
Your responsibilities
1. Manage claims from supplier and internal claims to supplier related to procurement and logistics.
2. Investigate causes of discrepancies in deliveries, payments or contractual obligations.
3. Initiate and manage debit/credit notes according to contract terms.
4. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to settle claims.
5. Document and track claims in the ERP system, ensuring transparency for audits.
6. Maintain a structured overview of open and closed claims with associated documentation
7. Collaborate with legal, finance, and procurement departments on complex cases.
8. Provide input for supplier performance evaluation based on claims history.
9. Identify recurring issues, propose preventive measures, and support standardization.
10. Prepare regular reports and dashboards on claim volumes, causes, and resolution times.
Your experiences and skills
11. Completed university degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
12. At least 5 years of professional experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management – ideally in the automotive, manufacturing sector.
13. Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
14. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
15. Ability to work under pressure, manage conflicts, and drive results.
16. Communicative team player with excellent planning and organizational skills.
17. Good command of English; German language skills are a strong advantage.
We offer
You will be offered an exciting position in an with many interesting benefits and diverse development opportunities. The minimum salary for this position is EUR 53.,02 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
