Job Description
As a DevOps CI/CD Engineer, reporting into the Tech Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Entain delivers the service performance, reliability, and availability expected by our internal customers. You will support cross-team engineering discussions to develop scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective CI/CD services. What You’ll Be Doing
* Develop and review the CI/CD processes of cloud-based web applications
* Develop automation and orchestration scripts to streamline the deployment, scaling and management of cloud applications and services
* Monitor and optimize the performance, reliability and security of cloud-based systems
* Ensure compliance with solution requirements, security standards, and best practices for cloud environments
* Work closely with the developers and operations team to identify and resolve issues and ensure smooth deployment and operation of cloud applications
Qualifications
* Relevant studies (e.g. computer science, information technology)
* Experience of 5+ years in similar field or position
* Experience in working in containerized environments
* Experience in infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform and scripting: Bash, Python
* Good understanding of container and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Helm
* Experience with monitoring, alerting and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
* Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
* Experience with managed cloud platforms - AWS
* Understanding of web-based applications, their principles of operations and development trends
* Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision
* Ability to work in a team
* Fluent English
