Development Engineer, Digital Signal Processing (m/f/d)
Overview
Design and develop cutting-edge audio signal processing algorithms for next-generation hearing implants. Implement signal processing algorithms and related tasks on ultra-low-power hardware platforms. Create and optimize measurement setups and test procedures to validate algorithm performance. Preparation of technical documentation in accordance with relevant medical device standards. Fine-tune and parameterize algorithms to achieve optimal audio quality and system efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Design and develop cutting-edge audio signal processing algorithms for next-generation hearing implants
* Implement signal processing algorithms and related tasks on ultra-low-power hardware platforms
* Create and optimize measurement setups and test procedures to validate algorithm performance
* Preparation of technical documentation in accordance with relevant medical device standards
* Fine-tune and parameterize algorithms to achieve optimal audio quality and system efficiency
Your Profile
* Master’s degree or higher degree (University, FH) in Electrical Engineering with focus on Signal Processing, Communication Engineering, or similar
* Strong theoretical and hands-on expertise in digital signal processing
* Proficient in acoustics and acoustic signal processing, with solid programming skills (MATLAB, C++, C, Python, or similar)
* Experience in embedded, hardware-oriented programming (assembler, C)
* Very good English skills, both written and spoken; German skills are a plus

Minimum Salary
Annual gross salary from € 58,941.41, based on professional qualification and experience.
