Whether for our motorsport or our series vehicles, as a Design Engineer* for our road / off-road bikes from KTM, you will combine your passion for two-wheel technology with your expertise in component development. You will participate in our development, be responsible for functionality, and also be involved in the projects that are responsible for our success. THE TASKS AWAITING YOU
1. development of components, assemblies and systems from concept design to the finished component
2. design of CAD models and preparation of technical drawings
3. execution of design-accompanying simulations
4. continuous optimization of the development of assemblies on the motorcycle
5. clarification of technical details with international suppliers
6. proactive coordination as interface to internal departments and external suppliers
HOW YOU CAN INSPIRE US
7. successfully completed technical education with focus on automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics (HTL/FH/TU)
8. ideally professional experience in the field of vehicle development and design
9. very good knowledge in MS-Office and a technical drawing program (Creo, Catia, etc.)
10. knowledge in the field of structural analysis (FEM simulation) is an advantage
11. German and English language knowledge in written and spoken and high motorcycle and motorsport affinity
12. communicative and flexible personality with team spirit, organizational skills and hands-on mentality
13. analytical, creative and solution-oriented thinking as well as a structured, methodical and precise way of working
