The Role
As part of our team, you'll be welcomed into a friendly, family-like environment where you'll get to know a diverse group of clients and help them with their financial needs. You'll provide effective and dependable service in areas like financial accounting, business advisory, and management accounting, all while being an integral part of our close-knit team.
What You'll Do
* Prepare monthly profit & loss and balance sheet reports
* Prepare income tax, GST, and FBT returns
* Assist with monthly, year-end, and statutory accounts
* Prepare cash flows, forecasts, and budgets
* Identify and discuss accounting issues with managers
* Build and maintain positive client relationships
What You'll Bring
* Minimum of three years' practical experience (must include preparation of financial accounts in New Zealand)
* Experience with Xero essential and FYI advantageous
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and systems
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* Public practice experience a plus
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
