We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract, supporting the ongoing delivery and enhancement of our Employer Portal. This portal enables employers to check member details and contribution history for their employees who are Aware members. The portal is live, but several enhancements and onboarding activities are planned over the next six months.
This is a hands-on role for a Senior BA with a strong record of delivery, ideally with experience in employer-facing digital solutions. While employer experience is a plus, it's not essential. The role has a significant focus on operational and risk aspects, in addition to digital delivery.
Key responsibilities
* Lead business analysis for complex initiatives, ensuring business needs are understood and delivered
* Prepare and execute business analysis plans, including stakeholder analysis, requirements management, and scope definition
* Contribute to business case development by articulating problem statements and business requirements
* Collaborate with other Business Analysts to ensure strategic alignment across initiatives and value streams
* Manage interdependencies and support risk and issue identification and mitigation
* Facilitate workshops to define current and future state processes
* Elicit, analyze, validate, and document requirements using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro
* Create cross-functional process flows and conduct impact/gap analysis
* Maintain process documentation and support rapid development of as-is/to-be processes
How do you exceed expectations?
* Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst, ideally in digital delivery and/or employer-facing solutions
* Strong operational and risk management focus
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
* Proficiency with business analysis tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro)
* Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment
