Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our client´s finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, review, and management of balance sheets, financial statements, and compliance with accounting standards to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for international manufacturing operations.
Financial Accountant (m/w/d) – Wiener Neustadt
Key Responsibilities
Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and cash flow statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data related to the company’s manufacturing operations.
Assist in the coordination of external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
Maintain the general ledger and manage account postings and journal entries.
Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes including accruals and adjustments.
Collaborate with finance and operational teams to improve internal controls and accounting processes.
Prepare reports and analysis for management to support decision‑making.
Stay up to date with changes in financial regulations impacting the manufacturing sector.
Qualifications
Certified Bilanzbuchhalter or equivalent accounting certification.
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in manufacturing industries.
Strong knowledge of Austrian accounting principles and international standards (IFRS preferred).
Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across departments.
Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
