We're looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact projects across the DACH and EMEA regions. Tasks And Qualifications
What You'll Do:
Lead with Purpose: Manage end-to-end project delivery across the DACH/EMEA region—from contract signature through service handover phase—ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, contract and exceed customer expectations.
Collaborate Across Borders: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to build high-performing project teams and foster a culture of ownership, agility, and continuous improvement.
Drive Strategic Execution: Validate project scopes and budgets during the proposal phase, support solution development, and ensure alignment with Dematic's quality and performance standards.
Be the Customer Champion: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, managing contractual obligations and leading change negotiations with confidence.
Own the Numbers: Monitor project costs, risks, and KPIs using advanced tools to ensure transparency, accuracy, and proactive decision-making.
Shape the Future: Implement global processes, contribute to lessons learned, and support continuous improvement across the organization.
What You Bring
A minimum of a
bachelor's degree
in engineering or a related technical field is required.
Native-level fluency in German
(spoken and written) is essential for this role.
At least
5 years of proven experience
leading international projects (EUR20M+) and project teams in a global, fast-paced engineering, automation, or intralogistics environment.
A
strong technical foundation
that enables you to understand complex systems and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
Advanced project management
expertise - you're well-versed in methodologies like IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2, or similar, and you know how to apply them pragmatically.
A
track record
of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to scope—especially in industries where precision, safety, and performance matter.
Strong
commercial and contractual acumen - you're confident in managing contracts, negotiating changes, and keeping a close eye on financials and KPIs.
Excellent communication skills
in English; additional European languages are a plus.
A
detail-oriented mindset
with the ability to manage complexity while staying focused on the big picture.
