UniCredit Bank Austria is seeking a full-time ICT Auditor to join our on-site team in Vienna. The ICT Auditor will be responsible for conducting internal audits that evaluate information systems, technology infrastructure, and digital tools to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and efficiency in operations. Duties include assessing IT processes, identifying risks, delivering improvement recommendations, and preparing detailed audit reports. The position requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and participation in the development of mitigating actions for control deficiencies. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity and performance of our technological operations.
Qualifications Proven expertise in performing ICT audits, assessing technology infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with IT governance standards.
Strong understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies, with familiarity in IT risk frameworks and control systems (e.g., COBIT, ISO/IEC).
Proficiency in areas such as security policies, IT operations, and application controls relating to information systems.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills with attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German, including the ability to prepare comprehensive reports.
Ability to collaborate across departments and foster productive teamwork.
A degree in Information Technology, Business IT, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP) are highly desirable.
Experience in financial services or banking IT environments is a plus.
