The DnA Team drives the data- and AI-driven transformation of the Vienna Insurance Group.
Its goal is to strengthen the use of data and artificial intelligence (AI) across all insurance companies within the Group in order to enable better decision‑making, optimize processes, foster innovation, and ultimately create value.
In doing so, we support VIG in leveraging the potential of data and modern technologies in a sustainable way – for greater efficiency, higher quality, and an improved customer experience.
* Further development of the group‑wide Data & Analytics / AI platform
Providing modern technology that enables the secure, scalable, and efficient handling of data.
* Development and scaling of Data, Analytics, and AI use cases
Collaborating with VIG companies to develop data‑driven solutions that create value and can be rolled out internationally.
* Data & AI Governance
Establishing unified standards for data quality, data management, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence – including ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Data & AI Business Enablement
Empowering employees across the Group through training programs, communities, change initiatives, and targeted communication, including tailored solutions and advisory support for business departments.
* Daily Business
o Identification, assessment, and prioritization of potential AI use cases
o Requirements analysis for Data, Analytics, and AI use cases
o Enablement and support of VIG companies in implementing Data, Analytics, and AI use cases
o Evaluation of third‑party solutions
o Further development of Data and AI governance standards and related tools, together with local Group companies
o Active networking and capability building through the Data & AI Community and Academy
o International exchange with subsidiaries and alignment with central Group functions
