(Senior) Design Manager (m/f/d)
Exyte is looking for a senior design manager to serve as the central technical interface in projects, coordinating multiple technical disciplines and ensuring quality, interfaces and deadlines.
Responsibilities
* Introduce consistent project goals and procedures across all disciplines.
* Monitor the design process and participate in design reviews concerning constructability and value‑added technical activities.
* Lead internal and external design coordination meetings.
* Conduct design reviews such as P&IDs reviews and 3D model reviews.
* Ensure that the entire design and production process runs efficiently and accurately, staying within budget and schedule.
* Support the project manager in preparing quotations and execution—project schedule, benchmarking, estimates, design change management.
* Analyze, structure, prioritize and delegate tasks related to design and engineering, following up on results.
Qualifications
* Completed degree in process engineering, supply engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering or similar.
* Several years of experience in technical planning, coordination or engineering management of large‑scale projects.
* Knowledge of technical workflows and key content (P&IDs, 3D model development, specifications, system & function descriptions, cost calculations).
* Structured, independent working style and strong technical understanding.
* Fluent written and spoken German and English.
* Willingness to work on project‑related assignments in the DACH region.

Salary
Due to legal reasons, we must disclose the minimum salary for this position: €60,000 gross per year based on full‑time employment. The final salary is based on the individual’s qualifications and professional experience.
