International Application Specialist Apheresis – Automated Blood Technology (m/f/d)
* Deliver structured application training to international Application Specialists, both in the field and at Fresenius Kabi training centers, covering the entire apheresis product portfolio (devices, disposables, workflows, and protocols)
* Ensure participants achieve full application competence, including device setup and operation, troubleshooting, alarm management, protocol selection, and workflow optimization
* Support European field teams during customer demonstrations, clinical evaluations, installations, and implementations
* Provide hands‑on support to ensure safe, effective, and compliant therapy delivery in hospitals and blood centers
* Act as second‑level technical and clinical support for country specialists, including escalation management in close collaboration with Senior Application Specialists, Technical Service, and R&D
* Collect structured field feedback and proactively communicate optimization opportunities to central teams
* Contribute to the creation, review, and continuous improvement of training materials, documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge resource
* Ensure compliance with Fresenius Kabi standards, product specifications, and regulatory requirements, while actively contributing to European apheresis knowledge sharing
* Completed education or degree in Nursing, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or a closely related field
* Several years of professional experience in clinical apheresis, transfusion medicine, or in the support and training of apheresis devices (e.g., therapeutic apheresis, donor apheresis, cell collection)
* Strong hands‑on experience with extracorporeal systems, blood component collection, and therapeutic plasma exchange and in‑depth understanding of the indications, principles, and procedures of therapeutic apheresis
* Experience in training healthcare professionals and supporting clinical implementations is an advantage
* Ability to communicate complex clinical and technical topics clearly and effectively to diverse target audiences
* Confident handling of medical devices, complex consumables, and clinical workflow
* High willingness to travel across Europe (approx. 50% travel required)
* Excellent communication and training skills, a service‑oriented hands‑on mindset, and a structured, independent working style
