As the point of contact for our company, you will be responsible for purchasing goods and services worldwide and finding suppliers and partners who meet our expectations in terms of quality, availability, innovation and costs.
Responsibilities
* Definition of the product group strategy and supplier portfolio
* Identifying potential suppliers based on project requirements and taking over the inquiry and quotation process as well as evaluating, selecting and developing national and international suppliers
* Developing cost-efficient strategies for purchasing the materials and services used in our company
* Independently negotiating with suppliers
* Conducting SWOT and benchmark analyses and developing risk management procedures to limit losses in the event of product shortages
Qualifications
* Completed education or studies in the fields of logistics, business administration, technology, metallurgy or castings
* At least 3-5 years of professional experience in purchasing, preferably in the automotive industry or an international industrial company
* Castings commodity experience is an advantage
* Proactive and dynamic buyer personality with technical affinity and passion for our high-tech products
* Communicative team player with negotiation skills and ERP routine, ideally in SAP
* Good German and English skills, both written and spoken, mandatory
We offer
* You will receive an exciting position in an international company with many interesting benefits. The minimum salary for this position is EUR 59,766.98 gross/year according to the very attractive collective agreement of the metal industry. An overpayment is possible, depending on your qualifications and experience.
