Based at our Head Office in Truganina, this full‑time role reports to the General Manager, Network Performance. The Manager, Contract Performance and Assurance supports the effective management of Franchise Agreements and Bus Service Contracts by providing contractual, operational and analytical expertise, ensuring strong performance, compliance and assurance outcomes across the network.
Major Responsibilities
* Administer CDC Victoria’s contract and franchise obligations, acting as the key contractual interface with HTfV, including reporting, administration and management of commercial impacts.
* Lead contract assurance activities, including reporting and improvement initiatives, to support effective performance across contract and franchise terms.
* Provide advice and draft correspondence for the Executive team on factors impacting contract and operational performance, including identification of non‑compliances.
* Contribute proactively to a high‑performing team and positive culture.
* Manage direct reports’ performance, objectives and development.
* Oversee procurement and tendering processes in line with HTfV contractual requirements.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure quality service delivery and protect CDC Victoria’s interests.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Requirements
* Experience in business analysis, procurement and contract management in a commercially focused environment.
* Bachelor qualifications in commerce, law, business or a related discipline (desirable).
* Extensive experience in working within Victorian Government Procurement guidelines, practices and processes.
* Sound problem‑solving skills, project management, conceptual and consultative skills.
* Advanced business and commercial acumen with an ability to identify and understand business risks and opportunities.
* Strong leadership with enthusiasm, commitment and initiative, and a proven capacity to share knowledge and work as a team member.
* Ability to undertake investigative research to obtain, clarify and validate information which may require explanation and interpretation.
