Head of Infrastructure & Operations
To ensure that both our motorcycles and business processes are ready to race, we are accelerating in IT Infrastructure & Operations.
As Head of Infrastructure & Operations, you hold overall responsibility for a stable, secure, and future‑proof IT operation at KTM. You lead several teams, shape IT services, operating models, and partner landscape, and act as a strategic partner for IT management and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for IT Infrastructure & Operations, ensuring a stable, secure, and high‑performing IT environment.
Leadership, development, and prioritization of multiple teams with a total of approx. 25–30 employees.
Definition, management, and continuous improvement of operating models, processes, and organizational structures within the infrastructure and operations environment.
Responsibility for KPI and SLA management and continuous optimization of quality, cost, and performance.
Vendor and contract management for external service providers, including governance, escalation handling, and performance monitoring.
Budget responsibility for IT Infrastructure & Operations topics.
Close alignment and strategic sparring with Vice Presidents, Heads of Departments, and internal customers.
Active contribution to shaping the IT strategy and implementing company‑wide IT and security standards.
Qualifications
Completed education with a focus on IT, IT management, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
Several years of professional and leadership experience in IT Infrastructure and/or Operations.
Solid experience in managing operational IT units, service providers, and complex IT operating structures.
Experience with KPI, SLA, and provider management, as well as budget and contract responsibility.
Ability to make clear decisions even in complex or uncertain situations and consistently follow through.
Strong communication and organizational skills, along with strategic thinking capabilities.
Proactive and structured way of working, combined with strong social and intercultural competence.
Passion for modern IT organizations, team development, and sustainable operating models.
