(Junior) Professor Digital Health Computing (f/m/d)

Responsibilities
You will deliver technically oriented courses for interdisciplinary and international students in our (Joint) Master programmes in Digital Health and contribute to curricula development at the intersection of digital health, computing, and engineering
You will supervise bachelor and master theses and providescientific and professional mentoring to students
You will help shape and strengthen the technical profile of the Center for Digital Health and Social Innovation through applied research and the joint acquisition of research grants and third‑party funding
You will contribute to scientific publications and proactively promote knowledge transfer between academia, industry, and society
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in a technical field
You demonstrate a hands‑on, experimental mindset with a passion for generative coding, computer vision, algorithms, building data pipelines or similar
For a Junior Professorship, you meet at least two of the following criteria; for a full professorship, all three criteria must be met:
At least 5 years of practical experience (e.g., software engineering, wearable computing, multimedia or mixed reality, human‑computer interaction, or related domains), including at least 3 years in the industrial field.
Teaching and research experience in higher education.
Completed doctorate/PhD or comparable qualification.
You have very good German and English language skills.
You are highly motivated to contribute to impactful research in digital health and social innovation and enjoy collaborating in interdisciplinary teams, ideally with international experience in industry or applied research environments.
