ASO7 Principal Officer, ICT and Digital Delivery
The Principal Officer - ICT & Digital Delivery is responsible for leading the planning, delivery, and evaluation of ICT programs, projects, and services that provide critical hardware, software, and technology solutions. The role also focuses on delivering customer-centric ICT services, monitoring procurement and contract management processes, and maintaining vendor relationships to ensure service level agreements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the planning, implementation, and evaluation of ICT business systems.
2. Plan, manage, and evaluate key performance indicators.
3. Drive continuous improvement of ESB ICT processes and systems.
4. Coordinate and oversee the design, planning, and delivery of complex ICT projects.
5. Identify suitable technologies and software products.
6. Manage ICT-related risk management activities.
7. Develop operational standards and procedures, providing expert advice.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Extensive knowledge of ICT project management, change management, and governance.
* Expertise in the software development lifecycle.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in ICT program delivery and vendor management.
* Proven success in leading complex ICT projects.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic records management systems.
* Knowledge of the State Record Act 1997 and records management principles.
* Understanding of the Education Standards Board's role as a statutory authority of South Australia.
Special Requirements:
* Satisfactorily complete a Department of Human Services Working with Children Check and keep it updated.
* Availability for some out-of-hours work.
* Flexible working arrangements available.
