Overview
Field Sales Engineer (m/w/d) in Tyrol, Austria. Part of the Global Sales team; focus on developing, maintaining, and improving direct customer contacts and relationships in line with the defined Go to Market philosophy. Sell and promote Emerson’s Measurement Solutions Portfolio to achieve growth targets in the DACH region.
Responsibilities
* Manage End User accounts (Refining, Oil & Gas, Life Science, Chemical) and OEM / EPC customers in Austria to achieve orders, sales, and profitability targets.
* Promote Emerson’s products and services and strategically negotiate to maximize long-term opportunities in line with the DACH Sales Organization.
* Develop Emerson’s market position with the Measurement Solution Portfolio by understanding customer business drivers and staying up-to-date with their situations.
* Prepare and be responsible for an annual booking budget by product/value/period.
* Maintain a project opportunity list and site plans for assigned accounts in CRM.
* Collaborate in team projects for more sophisticated requests and participate in industry events.

Requirements
* Technical degree, or equivalent experience
* Proven sales / business development experience in a commercial role
* Exposure to industrial automation environments (chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, power, life science, refining) with solid technical understanding
* CRM & MS Office tools proficiency
* Proficiency in English and German
* Willingness to travel regionally and internationally
* Driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with flow measurement solutions
* Matrix organization experience
* Interest in energy efficiency and sustainability
