As a result of our ongoing success and steady growth, we are expanding our procurement team and seeking an experienced CAPEX Buyer specializing in capital goods and equipment.
Job Description
* Responsibility for the procurement of capital goods and equipment in a manufacturing environment
* Independent tendering of projects as well as drafting and negotiating contracts with suppliers
* Management of the entire procurement process – from initial contact to handling complaints
* Selection and active management of suppliers
* Close collaboration with relevant departments (interface function) and validation of requirements
* Identification and realization of cost reduction and quality improvement opportunities
* Internal commercial project management and preparation of information suitable for management
Qualifications
* Completed commercial and/or technical education (e.g. business school, technical college, university of applied sciences, university)
* Several years of professional experience in the procurement of machinery and equipment, with a proven track record in negotiations
* Proficient in MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage
* Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
* Structured working style, high level of commitment, and strong quality awareness
* Solid knowledge of Austrian contract law
* Strong negotiation skills and confident appearance
* High implementation capability and entrepreneurial mindset
* Leadership experience required

We offer a fair and market-aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is € 3,600 (based on full-time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring.
