As a Senior Software Developer within the Project Software Development Department, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our intralogistics software. You’ll work on customer‑specific solutions, contribute to the modernization of our legacy systems, and take ownership of technical challenges in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
Your responsibilities :
* Develop and enhance our software platform based on Oracle, PL / SQL, and Java for current projects.
* Contribute to the transition towards Java EE, Wildfly, JMS, and container‑based architecture for future projects.
* Collaborate with distributed teams in Austria, Czech Republic, and Poland.
* Take initiative: identify problems, propose solutions, and drive implementation.
* Engage in the full development lifecycle: documentation, requirements engineering, testing, and quality assurance.
* Occasionally travel to customer sites – primarily work from Leoben or Hart bei Graz.

Several years of experience (7 years) in software development.
Qualifications
* Strong analytical thinking and a proactive mindset.
* High-quality standards, even under pressure.
* Experience in intralogistics is a strong advantage.
* Fluent in English (German is a plus for local collaboration).
* Willingness to grow into a Software Architect role over time.

An overpayment of the monthly minimum salary of EUR 5.800,- gross (38,5 hours / week) according to the collective agreement for employees in the metal industry is of course possible depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
