In your role as a Trainee in Production Planning and Control (f/m/x), you will support our experienced production planning team, learn efficient production planning methods, and serve as a central technical/organizational interface within the production department. Job Responsibilities
* Independent capacity planning for multiple production departments and on-time scheduling of production orders
* Ensuring the availability of personnel, materials, and machinery for optimal production processes
* Planning production volumes, delivery dates, and batch sizes in close alignment with production goals
* Acting as an interface and main point of contact between production, purchasing, and related departments
* Supporting the introduction of new products and manufacturing technologies
* Preparing analyses, statistics, and production KPIs for monitoring and control
Qualifications
* Completed technical education (e.g., apprenticeship with master craftsman exam, technical college, bachelor’s degree)
* Initial professional experience in a production environment; SAP knowledge is advantageous
* Proficient in German and good command of English
* Structured, meticulous, and independent working style
* Strong communication skills and confident demeanor
* Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for teamwork
* Leadership skills

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your salary will depend on your experience and qualifications, typically ranging from €2,700 to €3,100 gross per month (excluding overtime).
