Position Overview
You will be responsible for the end-to-end development and product lifecycle management of our Point of Sale and Trade Marketing Materials. These are physical marketing materials that we use to sell our can from, and to provide brand visibility within many different trade marketing environments. Sitting in the Global Visibility Items (VISIT) Procurement, Product Development team, you will work closely with internal global teams, and externally with our international suppliers, to ensure that all products are developed in line with our internal requirements while meeting high standards for compliance, quality, and sustainability. As a Product Manager for our physical Point-of-Sale and Trade Marketing Materials, you will play a key role in shaping the future of product development, ensuring our products and the Red Bull brand always look like #1 in-store and at any point of consumption.
Key Responsibilities
* Product Development
o Create project-related briefing documentation and manage the entire tender process, from supplier selection to final decision-making.
o Develop products with nominated suppliers, following a structured stage gate process and overseeing successful execution of product launches.
o Ensure all products meet compliance requirements, including certifications and product tests, in collaboration with suppliers and internal Quality Management.
o Plan and manage product development budgets while supporting local Red Bull entities in co‑developing market‑specific solutions.
* Product Lifecycle Management
o Oversee product category from initial market introduction through to phase‑out, ensuring an optimal lifecycle strategy.
o Manage product documentation and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain accurate records.
o Address quality complaints, driving continuous product improvements when necessary.
o Oversee the creation and maintenance of Product Master Data within the Material Governance System, approving shipment audit reports following product quality inspections.
o Lead innovation research and feasibility studies to explore new opportunities in product development.
* Category Management
o Work closely with procurement teams to identify new supply markets and technologies for POS products.
o Execute cross‑quotations on existing products to optimize supplier selection and pricing strategies.
o Collaborate with procurement to ensure the strategic sourcing of high‑quality materials and solutions.
* Sustainability
o Work on improving existing products and developing new ones with sustainability in mind, considering product carbon footprint and energy consumption.
o Contribute to Red Bull’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, ensuring products not only meet market needs but also adhere to high environmental standards.
Qualifications
* Degree in Business Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 3–5 years of professional experience in a comparable product development or product management role, ideally within the POS product environment.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English; German language skills are a plus.
* Strong procurement skills with basic contract management knowledge.
* Proven success in managing end-to-end product development projects and leading sustainability optimisation initiatives, integrating sustainability principles into product design.
* Experience in project and process management, with the ability to handle multiple internal and external stakeholders effectively.
* Strong understanding of structured project management and ability to work cross‑functionally across different departments.
* Expertise in sustainable materials, sustainable product development, or sustainability in design.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for product analysis and reporting; experience with SAP is desirable.
* Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a fast‑paced, global organization.
Salary Information
Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2691 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
