Currently we’re looking for a Senior Constructions Project Manager (m/f/d) for Vienna or Graz.
Tasks
1. Taking over the role of Project Manager for selected projects with a comprehensive view from project preparation, approval, and hand over to operations
2. Key contact in these projects for our business units at Siemens Mobility
3. Responsible for site selection on behalf of SMO PDT Head incl. contract negotiations and development of building rights mainly for industrial facilities.
4. Preparation of strategic documents as well as management summaries
5. Being the Construction Project Manager for construction projects at Siemens Mobility, you will be responsible for ensuring that the specified project goals in terms of quality, timeframe and costs are achieved during the design and execution phases.
6. You will work with benchmarks based on your experience in construction projects.
7. Managing external project parties, (e.g. general contractors, developers, architects) and cooperating with public authorities and other external parties to assure compliance with laws and regulations, is part of your daily business.
8. In addition, you will align the design and execution of the complex project within the project budget.
9. Securing our “Siemens Zero Harm Culture" on our construction sites
Skills
10. A University Degree (Masters) in construction or industrial engineering, architecture, or a comparable education
11. An impressive professional track record gained over several years in Construction Project Management
12. Experience in the construction of mainly industrial buildings, ideally in railway
13. Skills in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and other construction related methods
14. Good knowledge of building technologies and of Central European standards and EHS regulations
15. Basic business administration skills as an advantage but not essential
16. Self-confidence and motivation to take on initiatives
17. Strong communication and teamworking skills as well as entrepreneurial and cost-oriented thinking
18. Very good knowledge of English. A knowledge of German would be an advantage but is not essential. Be prepared to travel for your role

The gross annual payment for this job vacancy is at least 67.323,62 EUR (full-time). Siemens as an international company offers additional social benefits.
