* Continuously monitoring procurement markets and implementing alternative sources of supply to integrate new suppliers and product innovations into the purchasing portfolio
* Maintaining contact with internal and external stakeholders to identify developments (market, demand, etc.), exert appropriate influence, and optimize internal processes
* Creating price forecasts, internal key performance indicators, and reports to provide essential data for corporate planning (costing data), management, and reporting
* Continuous supplier management through supplier analysis and evaluation to ensure an optimal supply chain and to consistently secure the best suppliers
* Implementing agreed, site-wide procurement strategies and initiatives, as well as tendering for new requirements in the procurement market
* Regular alignments with the Category Manager regarding procurement markets and strategies to ensure long‑term and cost‑effective supply
