Be at the heart of how HR works on the ground in an international environment. In this hands‑on role, you’ll support managers, shape reliable HR processes, and help create a great employee experience.
What you will be doing:
* Own and manage all local HR operations across the full employee lifecycle in Austria
* Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, supporting them on HR policies and ensuring consistent application across the organization
* Partner closely with HR Shared Services and Payroll to ensure smooth, compliant HR service delivery
* Lead and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes
* Take ownership of labor law topics, audits, and local compliance requirements
* Support and enhance travel expense controlling and compliance, ensuring accuracy and process improvements
* Collaborate with business leaders to improve ways of working and support policy adherence
* Contribute to and lead HR projects across the EMEA region to enhance employee experience
What you need to succeed:
* Minimum 3 years of hands‑on HR generalist experience, ideally in an international, matrix organization
* Strong knowledge of Austrian labor law and employment practices
* Fluent German and English (both required)
* Proactive, practical and action‑oriented mindset
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build trust across the organization
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively
* High level of emotional intelligence with a people‑centric and pragmatic approach
* Experience with HR systems (e.g. Workday) and strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
