We are FLIGHTKEYS, a young company in Vienna specializing in software development and data management for airlines worldwide. We are looking for a dedicated SQL Database Administrator to manage our PostgreSQL databases and help maintain flight‑mission‑critical software systems.
What you bring
* Strong experience in setting up and maintaining relational database systems, ideally on PostgreSQL
* Interest in setting up and maintaining complex, 24/7 mission‑critical software
* Talent for troubleshooting and debugging
* Willingness to act as a third‑level support engineer during crises
* Solid general IT skills and willingness to learn new technologies
* Good knowledge of common Linux distributions
* Good command of English (spoken and written)
* Passion about problem‑solving and continuous improvement
* High‑quality awareness, innovative and independent working style
* Work permit for Austria or any other EU country (required)
NICE TO HAVE
* Programming skills and/or experience with microservice architectures (Docker/Kubernetes)
* Experience with Amazon AWS cloud deployment or similar commercial cloud vendor
* Interest in aviation

Salary
The collective agreement minimum salary is 64,000 EUR gross per year (on a 38.5‑hour basis). The actual minimum salary is 68,000 EUR gross per year, depending on qualifications and experience, and can be higher. The salary is paid 14 times per year. The collective agreement IT‑KV (EDV‑KV) applies.
Overtime
Any accrued overtime is compensated in the form of time off.
