Accountabilities
* Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, with a strong focus on online payment systems
* Contribute to the architecture and evolution of core backend components supporting high-traffic and high-availability use cases
* Collaborate across the stack with engineers and product stakeholders to deliver robust, user-centric solutions
* Ensure reliability, performance, and security of payment-related services and integrations
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while continuously improving engineering standards
* Participate in technical discussions, reviews, and iterations to drive platform-wide improvements
Requirements
* Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and backend development in production environments
* Solid knowledge of databases such as MongoDB and experience designing data models at scale
* Proven experience working on online payment systems or transaction-based platforms
* Good understanding of low-level systems concepts, with exposure to languages such as Go, Rust, or C considered a plus
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and distributed engineering environment
* Curiosity, autonomy, and a continuous learning mindset, with a passion for modern technologies
